Maple Arbol Brussel Sprouts

Thanksgiving, meet your new classic.

There’s certain dishes that make Thanksgiving feel like Thanksgiving. What are your classics? Turkey? Green bean casserole? Mashed potatoes? It might be a bit less traditional, but for us one of those items is Brussel Sprouts.

So that we can help make sure your dinner is complete, we have a recipe for you courtesy of our friends at Beard and the Gal. Get ready to wow your family and friends with this tasty twist on sprouts!

MAPLE ARBOL BRUSSEL SPROUTS

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup Brewt’s Chili de Arbol hot sauce
Brussel Sprouts halved
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Fresh squeezed Lemon Juice
3 slices of Bacon
Salt and Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cook 3 slices of bacon. Cool and crumble or chop and set aside
2. Drizzle olive oil on a sheet pan
3. Combine the hot sauce, maple syrup, dijon mustard, lemon juice, and salt and pepper
4. Whisk all ingredients in the bowl until incorporated
5. Toss sprouts and bacon in the mixture and spread evenly on the sheet pan
6. Cook at 400 degrees until golden and tender
